Elena Perlino is an Italian photographer interested in migration, human trafficking and gender issues. She received her master’s degree in Modern Literature from the University of Turin. Her work has since taken her around the world, where she has produced both personal and editorial work. Her images can be found in publications like Newsweek Japan, Elle and Time.
The Magnum Foundation Emergency Fund, the Centre National Arts Plastiques, the Open Society Foundations and the Septembre de la Photographie have honored her work, among others.
